GÁBOR ARION KUDÁSZ
Born 1978 in Budapest, Hungary. Lives and works in Budapest, Hungary. Studied at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, Budapest.
Gábor Arion Kudász’s work is centered on long-term projects with strong elements of both documentary and staged photography. After numerous projects dedicated to urban development, environmental issues and changing landscapes in general, his interest is becoming increasingly focused on diverse forms of human co-existence, personal life stories, memory, collective remembrance, private narratives, and social structures.
For INSIGHTS, Gábor Arion Kudász traveled through Hungary, Romania, and Bulgaria in 2014. He visited several production plants, building material depots, and construction sites in search of images that illustrate the dimension of the primal element brick and its size relationship to its maker and user – the human being. The result is a comprehensive puzzle of found objects and personal associations.
