ABOUT THE COLLECTION

Within the framework of INSIGHTS, wienerberger invites several outstanding artists every year to address a freely chosen aspect of the company’s activities and develop a related artistic project.

The goal of the project is to provide insights into the company as well as to document existing architecture and infrastructure on a long-term basis, including themes such as production, the use of natural resources and other materials, or the people in and around the firm can be subjects of the individual projects.

INSIGHTS is a long-term project. The company’s collection is growing continuously through the works commissioned every year. Since the beginning in 2012, 255 new works have been created by 34 different artists in 28 countries all over the world.

The primary focus is placed on the development of the individual projects and the participation in the artistic process. INSIGHTS owes its unique character to the company’s openness for a free and critical encounter.
